Vaccination Schedule Guide

Essential Baby Vaccination Guide

Immunizations are one of the most effective ways to protect your baby from serious and potentially life-threatening diseases. Following the recommended schedule ensures your baby builds immunity at the right developmental stages.

Standard First-Year Vaccine Milestones

Typical pediatric guidelines recommend immunizations at key intervals during your baby’s first year:

  • Birth: Hepatitis B (HepB)
  • 2 Months: HepB (2nd dose), DTaP, Hib, IPV (Polio), PCV13, Rotavirus
  • 4 Months: DTaP, Hib, IPV, PCV13, Rotavirus (2nd doses)
  • 6 Months: HepB (3rd dose), DTaP, Hib, PCV13, Rotavirus (3rd doses), plus annual Influenza
  • 12 Months: MMR, Varicella (Chickenpox), HepA, Hib, PCV13 booster

What to Expect After Vaccination

Mild side effects are common and show that your baby’s body is building protection. These can include:

  • Slight fever or fussiness
  • Redness or swelling at the injection site
  • Sleeping more than usual

Always consult your pediatrician if your baby runs a high fever or shows signs of an allergic reaction.
